Must-Haves:
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification from INCOSE with at least 5 years of work experience as a SE in a medical device domain.
• 5 years of experience in requirements engineering with excellent understanding of INCOSE requirements engineering best practices and/or EARS requirements writing guidance
• At least 3 years of working experience in using Jama Connect tool.
• Author HW and mobile app software and System requirements per INCOSE writing style. Trace requirements (hardware, software, and systems) to parent subsystems and system-level requirements.
• Develop requirements trace matrices and verification test trace matrices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters in Biomedical/Systems/Electrical/Software Engineering, with at least 5 years of Systems Engineering experience in a healthcare/medical device industry.
• Experience in distilling Product Architecture into distinct physical, logical and functional elements.
• Experience in Configuration Management and Product-line engineering.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Github, Jama tools in medical device development.
Responsibilities:
• Follow INCOSE guide to write clear, concise, and testable requirements for hardware, mobile app software, and systems. Able to use TestRail, Jama Connect, Fianu, Jira other tools.
• Write rationale for each hardware or mobile app requirement, user stories, and test cases. Trace requirements to parent subsystem and system requirements.
• Conduct Reviews and generate QMS reports in Jama Connect tool.
• Identify duplication or redundant design inputs and design outputs. Create requirements trace matrix and verification trace matrix.
• Support monthly software release cadence and recurring new feature initiatives.
• Remediate existing requirements using AI/LLM tools.
