We are seeking a highly skilled individual who possesses intermediate-level experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the construction industry and high-level thinking skills/abilities. This candidate will be a team-player with detailed organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
This role is crucial in managing the financial transactions of the company on a daily basis. Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial/Office Manager with all bookkeeping-related tasks including invoice resolution, sorting out payment discrepancies, and general administrative office tasks. This is a Full Time Salary position, on site in our Baltimore office.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in using Quickbooks (2 years, minimum)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Ability to identity and participate in process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field appreciated but not required
