Elite Force Staffing is Hiring a Commercial Cable Technician Near Chesapeake, VA
We are currently seeking a Lead Cable/Fiber Technician for a contract to hire opportunity in the Chesapeake, VA area. Qualified Candidates must have experience working with Cat 3, 5, 5e, 6 and low-voltage electrical. Any Fiber Optic experience is a bonus. Must have all basic hand tools for cabling and low-voltage electrical work. There is potential for long-term contract work and possibly becoming a full-time employee with a great company.
- Experiencing running and managing work/crews
- Must be able to pass background check (no felonies and no misdemeanors within the last 5 years), drug test and e-verify
- Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a good driving record
- Steller customer service, written/oral and interpersonal skills
- Managing/Leading work and other technicians
- Telecommunication/Low Voltage Electrical – 5 years
- Structured Cabling – 3 years
- Re-wire Cabling – 3 years
Hours per week: 40
Duration: Contract to hire
