Responsibilities
- Formulate alternative solutions to meet organizational requirements, incorporating business process reengineering and/or information technology deployment where necessary.
- Plan and conduct end user training sessions for new applications to ensure smooth adoption and usage.
- Prepare comprehensive cost-benefit analyses according to State CBA methodology to evaluate proposed solutions.
- Develop and oversee plans for the execution of solutions, guiding projects from inception to conclusion.
- Construct data models and activity/process models as needed to define system functions accurately.
- Provide support for the installation, testing, data conversion, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of information systems.
- Conduct and document results of special studies addressing systems and/or business process issues.
- Facilitate sessions to gather and document requirements, as well as explore potential solutions with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate superior negotiating, analytical, group facilitation, and relationship management skills.
- Collaborate effectively with all levels of State staff, demonstrating adept interviewing capability.
- Exhibit superior organizational and written/verbal communication skills for clear and concise documentation and communication.
- Utilize hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Process Modeling as required for various assignments.
- Understand current information technology trends and conceptualize cost-efficient solutions to business problems.
- Ensure deployment of information technology aligns with the State's architectural framework, emphasizing information sharing, data integration, and network interoperability for effective service delivery.
- Integrate solutions across multiple functional and technical environments to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience within the last two years.
- BA/BS degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in multi-tier computing, internet and intranet usage, electronic data interchange, imaging, data warehousing, and geographic information systems.
- Ability to integrate solutions across various functional and technical environments effectively.
