Job Duties:

Verify benefits with insurance companies online or by phone

Initiate authorization for assigned procedures

Enter notes, alerts, and authorization information into patients EMR

Work in a timely manner on assigned procedures along with being able to multi task

Email scribe or lead MA if notes are not completed in a timely manner to process prior authorization

Experience:

Prior Authorization experience (Required)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Knowledge of medical insurances including Medicaid and Medicare

Knowledge of CPT codes

Typing at least 40 wpm

Experience with EMR and Google suite

Organization

Office Hours M-Th 7-4 Fri 7-12
