Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oil and Gas Chemical Sales Representative to join our team in Midland, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our chemical products specifically designed for the completion side of oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry, strong technical knowledge, and excellent relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the completion segment of the oil and gas industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams within client organizations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular client visits and presentations to showcase the benefits and technical advantages of our chemical products.
  1. Technical Support and Consultation:
  • Offer technical expertise and support to clients, helping them select the appropriate chemical solutions for their completion projects.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and performance of our products in the field.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in chemical technologies and their applications in completion operations.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on chemical products for completion operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas completion processes and the role of chemicals in enhancing performance.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
