Position Overview

Elite Source Health is seeking an experienced Wound Care RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient wound care and be comfortable working in a busy clinical setting.

Shift Details

• Shift: 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: None

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care treatment to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Manage a daily patient load of 7-9 patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid WI RN License
• Certifications: AHA BLS (required); Wound Certification (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with recent wound care experience required.
• Charting: Epic experience strongly preferred; if not, must have prior electronic charting experience.

Additional Information

• Float Requirements: May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Requirements
- Experience in Pediatrics, Critical Care Transport, PICU, or related areas is preferred
- Proficiency in medical systems and medical imaging
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Ability to manage medical records accurately
- Familiarity with dementia care practices
- Skill in sonography is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to different work environments
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse locations

Qualifications
- BLS Certification
- Critical care experience
- Wound care expertise
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Experience in outpatient and pediatric critical care
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with medical records
- Travel nursing experience
- Knowledge of catheterization and IV insertion
- Familiarity with tube feeding and patient assessment
