Job Description: Sales Associate - Cigar and Vape Shop

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at our Cigar and Vape Shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cigars and vaping products, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in assisting customers, managing inventory, and promoting sales of our products.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.

- Provide expert product knowledge and guidance on cigar and vape-related products, including brands, flavors, and accessories.

- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email, regarding product availability, pricing, and usage.

2. Sales and Promotion:

- Actively promote sales of cigars, vaping devices, e-liquids, and accessories to meet individual and store sales targets.

- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize customer satisfaction and increase revenue.

- Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, product demonstrations, and tastings to attract new customers and drive sales.

3. Inventory Management:

- Receive, unpack, and organize incoming inventory shipments, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding replenishment needs and product demand.

- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies as needed.

4. Store Maintenance:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including display shelves, product showcases, and customer seating areas.

- Ensure that all products are properly labeled, priced, and displayed according to company standards.

- Assist in the setup and arrangement of merchandise displays and promotional signage.

5. Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding the sale and promotion of tobacco and vaping products.

- Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff by following proper safety procedures and protocols.

- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to product quality, safety, or compliance to management.

Qualifications:

- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a tobacco or vaping-related environment.

- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for cigars, vaping products, and related accessories.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and multitask with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.

- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to sell tobacco and vaping products.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
