The Job:

Elite Utility Construction is seeking a dedicated Drop Bury Technician experienced in operating vibratory plows. The ideal candidate will have a background in utility locating and be able to perform efficient and accurate drop bury installations.

Responsibilities:

- Operate vibratory plows to install underground fiber optic cables.

- Use necessary tools and equipment to blow/pull fiber through underground conduit.

- Perform utility locating to ensure safe and precise installations.

- Conduct pre-inspection and post-inspection of job sites.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

- Maintain equipment and report any issues or necessary repairs.

- Complete job documentation and reports as required.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.

- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Conduct site clean-up and restoration after installations.

Requirements:

- Experience operating vibratory plows is highly recommended.

- Knowledge of utility locating techniques.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
