Job Position - Senior .NET Developer

Job Location - Lansing MI

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Application Developer/Analyst to join our team and support critical workforce development applications including LEO – E & T, OSMIS, OSMIS Dashboard, Career Explorer, MAERS, and IMPACT. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in .NET development, a strong understanding of Git version control, JSON, C#, and xunit testing framework. This role requires expertise in Entity Framework, Serilog, and preferably Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with SAP BO is considered advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test complex software solutions and applications using .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance application capabilities, improve performance, and ensure reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices and development techniques.
• Evaluate new development tools, frameworks, and agency systems to recommend adoption based on project requirements and technical feasibility.
• Serve as a technical resource, offering expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git Version Control, SQL, JSON Serialization, Entity Framework Code, Serilog, Hangfire, Polly, NSwage, xunit, C#, JavaScript, XML, HTML, TypeScript, Web Services, CI/CD pipelines, and Scrum methodology.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and impact on operations.
• Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
