We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Program Activity Coordinator to enrich the lives of our clients through engaging activities and comprehensive support.
Job Description:
The Mental Health Program Activity Coordinator will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities that promote mental wellness and social skills among our clients. This role involves direct interaction with clients, supporting their participation in both individual and group activities, and accompanying them to appointments and outings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and facilitate daily and special activities that support mental health and foster community within the group home setting.
• Accompany clients to appointments and manage logistics for off-site activities.
• Monitor and support the emotional and physical wellbeing of clients during activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor activities that meet the therapeutic needs of each client.
• Document client participation and progress, providing feedback to the care team.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all activities.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field.
• Experience in a mental health setting, particularly in group homes or similar environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a deep understanding of mental health challenges.
• Ability to engage with and motivate clients with diverse needs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed.
