Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating cranes and other heavy equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Note: The position is located in Star, NC
Note: Must have NCCCO Certification and CDL A to be considered for this position
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Communicate with ground crew to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials
- Maintain accurate records of lifts and inspections
Qualifications:
- 5 years of previous experience operating cranes and other heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Familiarity with rigging, digging, and materials handling
- Ability to operate a boom truck is a plus
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or forklift operation is beneficial
