DEPARTMENT: Auditor’s Office

HIRING RANGE: $18.25-20.28/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

POSITION TO BE FILLED: ASAP

HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: Monday 8 - 5 p.m.; Tuesday - Friday 8 - 4 p.m.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Administration Building - Goshen

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing, processing, and posting deeds and land transfers, maintaining an accurate record thereof, and preparing and filing various paperwork, reports, and correspondence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions and follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent organizational, communication skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures and practices
• Knowledge of County/Indiana Code and State/County laws
• Ability to provide public access to, or maintain confidentiality of, department information and records according to State requirements
• Ability to work alone or with others in a team environment
• Pre-employment background check
