Role : Sales Manager - Power & Energy

Location : Sacramento, CA

Salary : $80k - $120k

Responsibilities :

• Expand and diversify the customer base while exceeding both personal and company sales targets every month within the assigned region.
• Foster and nurture strong relationships with electrical contractors, distributors, end users, and utilities through regular customer visits and communication.
• Cultivate positive partnerships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and strategic business contacts to ensure optimal value and support for our customers.
• Provide expert consultation and technical advice to both internal teams and external clients on electrical solution needs, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for remanufactured and reconditioned power distribution and control products, including switchgear and HV / LV breakers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline customer transactions and ensure accuracy and efficiency in service delivery.
• Facilitate the coordination of services with our customers and internal field service team, including scheduling, preparation, and communication of service expectations.
• Communicate with clients in a highly customer-oriented manner, expanding the scope of project work as needed and negotiating additional charges when appropriate.

Requirements :

• Demonstrated sales experience with a strong product knowledge of electrical and control products.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA, with a background in high-voltage equipment.
• Experience in utility and industrial markets preferred, with a focus on business growth and opportunity identification.
• Strong negotiation skills and creativity in problem-solving situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM software is a plus.
