The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ensure a smooth checkout process
• Scan items and process payments accurately
• Provide information and assist customers with any questions or concerns
• Maintain knowledge of products and promotions
• Manage cash registers and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Handle exchanges and returns efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant technology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight] as required.
