Position Overview
Outpatient Psychiatrist - Maple Grove
If you are reading this then you are probably looking for a better way to do things, something different. Looking to, you know, actually do the thing you have dedicated your life to: Help people. Being a psychiatrist was always going to be a difficult gig--it's in the job description--but this pandemic has really amplified some of the structural issues of our industry, and the business side of things often can't help but make things worse. We get it. We've been there too. It is exhausting, isn't it? What if I told you there is a better way? What if I told you there was a place where doing this work can be rejuvenating and exciting? "No way!" you'd say, "Not in healthcare." Believe it, it exists, and you can find it at Ellie Mental Health.
Ellie Mental Health is seeking Psychiatrists to join our Team as clinical leaders. The Medication Management Team is a multidisciplinary group which includes Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Psychiatric Nursing, and Medical Assistants. We have a referral base from 200 therapists and our clinical focus is on outpatient care throughout the lifespan. Clinicians are highly supported with medical assistants, reception team, and our billing department. Ellie values a work life balance and a sustainable career; full time positions start at 25 clinical hours a week. We are looking for Psychiatrists to be educators and leaders amongst your colleagues, and in patient care. Candidates should have a diverse background of experience, motivation, and flexibility. Please apply if you are looking for a new environment to better yourself and your clients.
We are specifically looking for a Psychiatrist to join the team at our Maple Grove location, providing both telehealth and in-person services. This position would be influential in adding to our west metro services, including clinic, IOP, and TMS. You would work closely with our Senior Director of Adult Psychiatry to build excellent evidenced based care at our expanding Maple Grove site with a focus on Adult Psychiatry, including First Episode Psychosis and Treatment Resistant Depression. You would have a mixed practice of outpatient clinic and specialty programing tailored to your passion and expertise. We are also excited to support growth into these areas for Psychiatrists who are interested but have not previously provided additional services.
