Elwood Staffing is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join the team at a printing Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and lifting heavy materials (up to 75 pounds) as part of our production and warehouse operations. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient handling of materials and products within our facility.

Forklift And Production Details

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift
• Support presses and collators in an accurate and timely manner.
• Operator hyster using proper operating and safety techniques.
• Empty all trash in production area into the dumpsters using proper devises i.e. hyster, hand truck.
• Sort recyclable paper.
• Schedule trash and recycle companies for pick-up.
• Operate baler located in outside baler room following established operating and safety procedures.
• Maintain constant flow of cores to core boxes
• Load courier vehicle, operate cutter to cut down checks, pack shredded checks in baler according to proper disposal methods.

Forklift And Production Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Comfortable working in both a warehouse and outside in the elements and various weather conditions.
• Longevity at previous employers is required.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
