The People and Culture Coordinator is dedicated to the heart of our hotel - our people. As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will ensure the efficient administration of Human Resources functions, fostering a supportive and thriving workplace environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Creating an engaging work environment for all team members
  • Seamlessly manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are fully equipped and ready
  • Lead dynamic New Hire Orientation sessions, immersing new team members in Hilton Brand expectations and Spire company overview.
  • Support for all team members with needs they may have to all things Human Resources: Benefits, payroll, HRIS system login or app guidance
  • Participate and manage volunteer and charity participation
  • Recruitment of new talent to fill open roles for the property

Hotel Specific: (Omit category if nothing property specific is required)

  1. Previous experience working in Hilton a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Lift or move boxes weighing up to 25lbs
  • Stand, walk within hotels areas and sit for long periods of time throughout the shift

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Human Resources Management Certification preferred

Experience:

  • 1 year of previous Human Resources experience or 1 year of full-cycle recruiting
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • Previous working within an HRIS system. UKG is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws like; EEOC, ADA, Title VII and Washington State laws applicable to your property.
