The Embassy Suites by Hilton Richmond is seeking an experienced front of the house restaurant professional for our F&B Supervisor position.

This supervisory position is during evening shifts, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m. and the right candidate must have weekend availability. Bartending experience is required.

We own and operate hotels under the Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, InterContinental and Choice flags and have tripled in size to 70 hotels over the past ten years. Job Description

• Ensure the customer receives the highest quality service and staff meet the standards of the Embassy Suites and Shamin Hotels.
• Assist with the operational running of the F&B outlets, ensuring all are open on time and ready for business and close on time with end of day jobs completed to standard and staff signed out.
• Allocate and support staff through the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of venue.
• Pre-empt and actively respond to problems that arise and keep management up to date.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and notify management of any issues.
• Assist in cash handling procedures as required.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for hospitality and guest service
• Previous hotel or Hilton brand experience preferred
• Extensive experience in a restaurant, bar and banquets setting required
• Cash handling knowledge required
• Excellent communications skills and fluency in English
• Must have leadership qualities and be able to train, motivate and evaluate employees.
• Ability to work well under pressure and operate as a team player.
