To be a successful Adoption Support Worker you must become able to do the following always:

Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.

Provide services that result in timely and safe achievement of company and state outcomes relevant to the position.

Assist the Adoption Case Manager with making referrals, monthly contacts, and ensuring documentation is complete.

Assist families with identifying, locating, and accessing basic resources and community support systems.

Assist in matching adoptive families with children eligible for adoption.

Support adoptive homes and ensure all required trainings, documentation, and background checks are completed.

Transport children and families. Travel in state to assure client-family contact as needed.

Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
