To be a successful Clinical Supervisor you must become able to do the following always:

1. Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.

1. Provide direct supervision and evaluation of all Residential Therapists utilizing the agency model for supervision, Supervision for Success. 

1. Ensure Residential Therapists are meeting all program requirements including assuring active treatment is conducted via therapy services. 

1. Ensure all documentation requirements completed by Residential Therapists is thorough, timely and meets medical necessity.

1. May provide individual, group and family therapy, meeting the varied needs of the assigned client population on the residential campus. Complete and maintain records for assigned clients. 

1. Provide court reports/testimony when necessary. 

1. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.

1. Develop and facilitate trainings on clinical topics to develop the clinical knowledge and skills of program staff.

1. Provide on-call support. 

1. May carry a caseload of up to four clients.

1. Meet departmental goals and/or outcomes.

How you will spend your time in this job: ?

• 50% Administrative and Clinical Supervision 
• 25% Clinical Practice 
• 25% Administrative duties 

To qualify for this job you need to have:

1. Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling.

1. Licensed to practice in the state of Kansas. Licensed to practice independently as a LSCSW, PhD, PsyD, LCP, LCMFT or LCPC preferred. 

1. Strong clinical assessment and treatment experience required, preferably in a mental health or child welfare setting including children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance.

1. Supervisory experience preferred. 

1. Competency in using a personal computer required. Must document information in an electronic medical record.

1. Physical working requirements - Ability to travel, driving agency or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk up stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
