Experience the EMBREY WAY by joining our dynamic Accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will assist the accounting department by performing various banking tasks, reviewing Corporate and Construction Field employee expense reports, and overseeing payables for assigned construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete and coordinate the setup and offboarding of EMBREY bank accounts and users.
- Review and route project invoices to correct jobs and monitor approvals as needed.
- Entry of payroll invoices on a bi-weekly basis.
- Complete draw payments, check requests, and utility payments as funding is approved.
- Review and approve Concur expense reports for Embrey Master Card holders and personal expense reports.
- Research and reply to vendor inquiries.
- Enter payroll invoices on a bi-weekly basis.
- Maintain data integrity between Sage & Avid as needed.
- Document and update user training guides.
- Complete other tasks and/or projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative role. Bookkeeping experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail
- Team oriented
- Experience with the following software is preferred: AVIDXchange, Concur, Textura, TimberScan, and Sage.
- High School Diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related fields is preferred.
Required Testing
- Criminal Background Check, Non-DOT Testing, MVR
