Job Title: HVAC Technician II
Job Summary: The HVAC Tech II candidate is provided a company van and tools and travels to a variety of customer sites to maintain commercial properties. May service a single location for a period of time; but essentially, is required to travel every day. Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs.
Will support the customer locations in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Often performs preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance, troubleshoots and services commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Understands control operation, and sequence of operation for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Other duties include, but are not limited to, keeping accurate service and maintenance records, and communicating effectively with others. This person carries the relationship with customers in the service of their requirements. Other duties include, but not limited to, daily assessments of systems, maintain a clean working environment, and other various handyman maintenance duties as assigned by the EMCOR location Manager, while adhering to all safety and health standards.

a. Proficient in Microsoft Office and email and will possess the aptitude to be trained in computer applications.

a. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
3. Mathematical Ability
a. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

a. Identifies what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it. Having a “Can-Do” attitude to satisfy customer expectations

Work environment:
Work in an environment where the following safety equipment is needed, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, noise protection, hardhat, eye protection, and hand protection. Abide by OSHA guidelines including lock-out/tag-out and HAZCOM guidelines and all other Viox/Customer driven safety initiatives.
Hours of work are solely defined and governed by business volume and contract schedules.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of the customer and subordinates.
