Job Title: -- IT Procurement Supervisor

Job Summary: -- This position supervises the operations of the Centralized IT Procurement Office and assists in leading the activities to meet our IT procurement standards and compliance. Provide coaching and hands-on support to IT Procurement Specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -- 

• Develop and promote IT procurement standards and compliance across EMCOR companies.
• Responsible for communicating compliance requirements within the Centralized IT Procurement Office.
• Work with Corporate Legal and Security & Compliance departments to ensure requests are reviewed and meet required compliance standards.
• Provide training to IT Procurement Specialists.
• Process orders and invoices for IT products and services.
• Fulfill requests from EMCOR management for reporting on financial, performance, or purchasing data in relation to IT Procurement.
• Onboard newly acquired companies to Centralized IT Procurement, educating new employees on IT Procurement processes, standards, and tools.
• Act as subject matter expert of the Procurement department including the IT and Operations Leads.
• Assess external market trends and conditions to identity opportunities and mitigate risk in spend categories to support IT business objectives.
• Perform detailed analysis to assist in estimating centralized IT spend and related savings.
• Manage team resources to ensure timely execution of projects; oversee IT Procurement initiatives.
• With the assistance of EMCOR legal, negotiate new contracts and contract renewals with suppliers.
• Oversee EMCOR’s master telecom agreements.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting IT Procurement Specialist candidates.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel: Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications: -- 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in IT Procurement and/or IT Vendor Management
• Bachelor’s degree in General Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Math, or Information Technology preferred.
• Prior experience in implementation of Centralized IT processes, methods, tools, guidelines and standards is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Office Collaboration Tools
• Experience with ServiceNow and/or Ivalua eProcurement is preferred.
• Solid business systems skills including experience in the operation of ERP systems or web-enabled sourcing tools.
• Financial analysis and reporting experience.
• Experience with contract negotiations and SOW management.
• Experience working with Senior leadership across multiple business functions internally and with suppliers.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating ownership of responsibilities and deliverables.
• Must have a results-driven focus, with the resolve and urgency to accomplish specific goals.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple, shifting priorities.
• Manage and monitor IT Procurement Specialists' performance, ensuring quality standards and internal SLAs are met related to order processing, quoting, communication, and invoicing.
