We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and hard-working individual to join our team as a carpet cleaning technician. Our ideal candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of company vehicles.
- Perform various cleaning procedures such as floor sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment including power tools, cleaning equipment, etc.
- Ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or maintenance requests to the manager or supervisor.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly. The position requires heavy lifting and physical labor.
- Proven working experience as a carpet cleaning technician or similar role appreciated, but not required - -will train!
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and other components of the cleaning industry (e.g. carpet cleaner, soil, polishes, waxes etc.) is a plus!
- Familiarity with customer service principles
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Manage time well
- High school degree or equivalent; certification in a related field is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
