Saline Lectronics (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Controller to join its Saline, MI team!  This position is responsible for assisting the Controller in overseeing and maintaining the general ledger, assisting with preparation of monthly financial reports, as well as, providing key support to Accounts Payable and Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller: 

• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure proper classification within financial statements to enable proper tracking, trending, and reporting. 
• Assist the Controller & Staff Accountant with maintaining the general ledger, accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and other financial reporting, including reporting sent to the corporate office. 
• Assist with inventory & internal control functions.
• Play a key role in yearly financial audit.
• Assist with accounting related projects and reports as needed.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of budgets, including analysis of variances between budgeted revenue and expenses and actual results
