Job Description: As a Chassis Receiving Lead at Emerald Transportation Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our receiving and inventory management processes. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the receipt, inspection, and inventory control of chassis equipment, ensuring that our manufacturing operations have access to high-quality components. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming chassis equipment and conduct meticulous inspections to verify compliance with our stringent quality standards.
• Document and report any damages, defects, or discrepancies in received chassis, collaborating with suppliers or vendors to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our advanced inventory management systems, ensuring optimal stock levels to support manufacturing operations.
• Generate comprehensive reports on inventory status, inspection results, and trends, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of receiving personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of our receiving operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in receiving, inspection, or inventory management roles, with a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using inventory management systems or software applications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices related to chassis inspection and inventory management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including chassis equipment, as needed.
• Comfort working in an outdoor environment and exposure to various weather conditions.
