Responsibilities for the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position in Erie, PA, will include:
- Oversight and monitoring all shipping and receiving procedures and product movement to ensure dates are correct.
- Ensuring all products are packaged and transported according to contract requirements.
- Documenting shipping compliance and maintaining records.
- Utilizing the ERP system to ensure on-time and correct deliveries is desired.
- Must have three or more years of experience working with shipping and receiving paperwork, product materials handling or recent Supply Chain college graduates and US Veterans with Supply Chain Majors or experience are encouraged to apply.
- Highly organized and detail oriented in interpreting and negotiating contracts with transportation companies.
- Prior experience working with government and military documentation is preferred.
- Experience monitoring purchase orders and BOMs.
- Ability to pass the required federal background checks including drug screen and physical.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires "U.S. person status".
