Emerge Professional is Hiring a Collector Near Conroe, TX

Our client is a national law firm with a practice dedicated to the collection of delinquent government receivables. For over 40 years they have been providing customized collection programs for their public sector clientele. Located in Houston, they offer excellent training, benefits, and room for advancement.
They are looking to add a collector to the team in the Conroe office. You will be calling to collect from overdue accounts by mail and phone. You will have the opportunity to make many outbound calls throughout the day and advise customers of their options. A strong candidate for this role will be excited by correspondence and helping others.
REWARDS

  • Hourly rate starting at $16/hour
  • Benefits and 401(k) upon conversion

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior outbound phone experience required
  • High-volume customer service required
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal required
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Collect outstanding account balances by phone and email
  • Make high-volumes of calls daily to customers
  • Persuade and negotiate with customers to enter payment plans
