A local CPA firm is offering an exceptional career opportunity for the right Tax Partner. They would consider either a current Partner, or a strong Senior Manager or Director ready to assume a Partnership role right away. No sales or practice development skills are required as the partner will assume a very large book of business. Need experience with real estate tax and very high net worth individuals.

Must be onsite 8am-6pm. The firm offers 4-day work week May 1 - December 31, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements:

CPA, preferably with JD or Master's degree in tax
15-20 years in tax accounting, very strong in real estate limited partnerships, C and S corps, fiduciary, and high net worth individual tax. Prefer someone from another high quality local CPA firm; will consider seasoned tax pros who can project working at least another ten years full time.
Strong staff management and training skills
Prefer experience with Lacerte tax preparation software and BNATax Projection software.
Extreme technical competency in taxation: individual, real estate partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax areas of practice.
Familiar with both California and multi-state tax rules
Responsible for both reviewing tax returns prepared by the staff and occasionally preparing complex returns.
Although not required, ability to generate and cultivate new business.
Strong interpersonal communication skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues.

Compensation commensurate with experience, base salary potential of $200K - $300K with profit sharing.
