Emerson is currently seeking Electrical Manufacturing Engineer in Houston, TX. In this critical role, you will play a leadership role in improving the manufacturing process, production layouts, and materials flow at the Crossridge Manufacturing Facility.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing common manufacturing processes and Best Practices within plant operations. This position is also responsible for achieving Best Customer Service and Perfect Execution objectives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, and operational support across the production floor for Pneumatics and Electric's Product lines
- Review and correct drawings, spec sheets, and wiring diagrams, testing procedure and process.
- Maintain, update and create tester, tester application, testing tool, improve testing, and manufacture process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with engineering to resolve production issues
- Collaborate with quality and engineering to ensure Emerson quality and customer's needs are met
- Help Identify inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and correct root causes to ensure continuous improvement
- Create/Maintain Work Instructions for assembly and testing processes.
- Identify and correct Safety Gaps in current or new processes

For This Role, You Will Need: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, or another technical field
- Demonstrated experience in mass production with electrical testing, electronics testing, firmware programming, tester design/setup, create tester application and modify the scripts for testing applications.
- Basic understanding of NEC code, NEMA and IEEE requirements.
- Capable of domestic and international travel up to 15%
- Able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation is a plus.
- 2 years of related experience
- Experience working with PCBA, Power cards and Motors.
- Experience working with induction motor.
- Prefer Experience with industrial communication, such as MODBUS.
