Emerson is Hiring a Project Management Office (PMO) Manager Near Mansfield, OH

Job DescriptionAs the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager, based in Ontario, OH, you will develop a team dedicated to supporting the delivery of projects. Within the PM team, your office serves as the central hub for ensuring process and deliverable consistency across all projects. You will oversee a project support staff focused on enhancing efficiency, upholding standards, implementing essential tools, and fostering continuous improvement. Your role is an integral component of our Project Management organization, charged with promoting best practices, standardizing tools, facilitating support resources, and disseminating lessons learned to boost productivity and elevate the quality of our projects.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead and manage the PMO staff to support Actuation Technologies' projects and achieve the team's objectives.
  • Hire, train, and develop project management staff, focusing on career progression and performance improvement.
  • Implement and monitor critical metrics with dashboards and data analysis to drive project success.
  • Serve as the escalation point for internal and external customers, ensuring effective project delivery and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate team activities to enhance engagement, manage project financials, and provide regular status reports to senior management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • 5 years in a project management or product engineering function
  • 3 years in a people management function
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • PMP/PMI or Prince certification preferred
  • Knowledge & understanding of ‘EPC’ market, desirable
  • Familiar with Valves and/or Actuation, desirable
