Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage customer enquiries and orders. Maintains the integrity of system data and recommends enhancements to improve order process efficiency.
1. Processes orders and verifies material availability or production date of made-to-order products
2. Maintains customer master information
3. Document and resolve customer complaints
4. Provides information regarding order status, inventory, locations, shipping documentation
5. Proactively manages accounts by soliciting orders and maintaining system data
6. Monitors account order patterns providing feedback for demand management
7. Provides input to production planners based on forecasts, order history, or customer information
Incumbent will:
Provide options or alternatives when customer requirements change or need adjustment.
Determine appropriate inventory location and available package sizes based on customer requests.
Determine appropriate action when customer requirements cannot be met.
Initiate credit memos, returns, or debit memos as necessary.
Determine appropriate action for technical requests, distributor referrals, and inquiries for information
Maintain a professional manner in developing strong relationships with key accounts, and distributors.
Proactively manage accounts.
Build partnerships and business associates by participation in projects that provide feedback on order placements, forecasts, and changes in requirements.
Implement solutions for work process improvements and corrective action.
Review ISO Procedures periodically for documentation of changes in processes.
Ideal candidates will possess:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least five years of relevant experience
Good communication (verbal and written)
Good organization and planning skills
Proficient in Excel and Word
The ability to work over eight hours per day and over 40 hours per week
