EML, LLC is looking for an IFMA certified candidate to fill the following position as the Facilities Operations & Maintenance Deputy Project Manager at the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau in Washington, DC:
Deputy PM- Facilities Operations
-Provide tactical leadership for the operations and maintenance staff.
-Plan, direct, and monitor the performance of the operations and maintenance staff.
-Prepare annual reviews and stretch goals for direct reports.
-Establish performance metrics; track, analyze and report out monthly on the performance of the organization.
-Ensure that the facility is operated and maintained in a cost-effective and safe manner. This is done in accordance within the approved budget and the customer’s requirements to fulfill operations and maintain contractual obligations.
-Manages, directs and schedules day-to-day and long range activities and ensure that the operation and maintenance staff are following processes and procedures.
-Manage operations and maintenance, and IDIQ staff including hiring, recognition, discipline, and performance management.
-Find innovative and creative ways to reduce expenditures and increase revenue.
-Perform audits to ensure that the organization is exceeding all contractual obligations.
-Responsible for the creation of processes for all areas managed.
-Manage the computerized maintenance management/service order system.
-Administer the customer service survey program.
-Administer company safety program.
-Ensure customers are satisfied with the service rendered by the staff.
-Implement policies, procedures and organizational structure for assigned operating unit.
-Plan, staff and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operating unit.
-Act on behalf of the Project Manager in his/her absence.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
- The individual must possess at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or an additional three (3) years of work experience in the Facilities Management field in addition to the five (5) year minimum experience requirement, below.
In addition, the individual must have a current FM accreditation.
IFMA certification (FMP or CFM)
