Emonics Healthcare is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Knoxville, TN
Responsibilities:
- Fill drug kits under direct supervision applying accuracy and aseptic technique.
- Match preprinted labels and delivery manifests with a source document
- Locate medication from the pharmacy supply area, count out, & package in the correct system, including blister packs, vials, etc.
- Pre-package medications according to standard procedures
- Assist in order entry and other phases of computer operations including billing procedures
- Clean all equipment and work areas
- Check equipment for calibration and safety
- Rotate stock as required
- File documentation as required and according to pharmacy regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy tech current State Board certification
- 6 months – 1 year of related experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Must have a valid TN license.
- Covid Card or Exemption (Medical or Religious)
- Shifts: 9:00 am-5:30 pm shift and 2:30 pm-11:30 pm
