Description

We're seeking a dedicated EKG Technician to continue the growth of our team at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. As part of our team you will be responsible for recording electomotive variations in a patient's heart muscle using an electrocardiogram (EKG) to provide data for the diagnosis of heart ailments. You will clearly explain testing procedures to patients and answer their questions. You will accurately fasten electrode leads to the patient's chest, arms and legs. You will monitor electrocardiograms for abnormanl patterns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months related experience and/or training. Typing skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association is required.
