JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Water Meter Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with pipe type identifications. If you have experience in plumbing or meter installations, we want to hear from you.

1-2 Year Water Meter Project in the City of New Orleans

Paid as a 1099 contractor at piece paid rates. Wages are based on number of water meter installed.

A MINIMUM of 20 installs are required daily.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and record data in a hand-held mobile device.
• Safely and efficiently install water meter and any other equipment needed to complete installation.
• Manage your daily inventory. Receive and return all equipment and supplies each day.
• Follow all operating procedures and policies.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in plumbing and/or water meter installations preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Current insurance
• Reliable work truck/van/SUV
• Able to provide your own tools
• Able to bend, kneel, constantly walk and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to use technology such as apps to complete data uploads.
• Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $200.00 - $425.00 per day

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
