The Manager, Facilities Operations:
Annual Reporting:

• Manages the annual licensing and certifications process for various regulatory areas.

CCTV & Access Control Systems:

• Assigns access rights based on established protocol; configures schedules, holidays, time codes; alarm routing; and other functions. Trains others as needed.
• Assists in identifying and resolving issues with access control software by working with vendor(s) and internal departments to update and troubleshoot software, and escalates issues as needed.

Space Management:

• Manages the Empath Health Space Reservation software, approves reservation requests and works to resolve conflicts if and when they occur.

Bio Medical Waste / Shredding / Supplies:

• Provide operational oversight to Bio Medical Waste (BMW) and document shredding vendor from an operational standpoint.

Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Recovery:

• Maintains constant readiness for emergency preparedness and disaster recovery as outlined in the organization's plan and as directed by Emergency Operations Incident Commander.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• People Management:One year minimum experience managing direct reports.
• Process Management: Three years minimum process management experience within Facilities Department(s)
• Project Management:One year minimum experience in managing projects, including clear communication of timeline, milestones, and needs of project, with stakeholders and/or departments.
• including experience working with Stakeholders for Project Management
• Licensure:Valid driver's license
• Experience in the maintenance field with working knowledge of the trades, facility operations, software applications associated with facility operationspreferably in the health care industry.
• Basic ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with proven track in conducting research and writing summary reports.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Employees must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion.Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in the employee's HR file.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must reside in close proximity to primary Empath Health work location.
