Primary Tasks, Duties, And Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of designated, licensed physicians, perform initial patient screenings, collect patient history,
- Monitor and maintain progress of patients; prepare, review and update the plan of care; and provide report to
- Enter/Update patient records and checks records for accuracy at each patient appointment through the EMR.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and health care
- Serve as the resource the patients contact for ongoing care information, counseling and guidance for any critical
- Initiate and maintains plans of care.
- Perform intake of new patients; ensure signed consent forms, prior medical record, and other required documents
- Follow the Florida Department of Health requirements, as well as all legal and regulatory requirements and abides
- Maintain current knowledge of latest medical research and seek out educational opportunities to remain current
- Mentor other office staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master’s degree in nursing.
- Current and active APRN license in the State of Florida with prescriptive authority.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an APRN providing recent direct patient care in an acute care setting.
- An equivalent combination of professional experiences and education may be considered as meeting the
