What We Are Looking for: Bachelor’s degree in accounting5 years experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in homebuilding industryPositive attitude with the ability to manage and support fellow team members through the sharing of knowledge and training Analytical and organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage time effectivelyExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate and manage relationships with employees of all levels of the organization What You’ll Be Doing Each Day Supervise staff accountants and accounts payable associatesReview and approve journal entries and construct high level, complex journal entries, while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as internal accounting policiesResponsible for month end close process, timely account reconciliations, and KPI tracking. Assist with interim and year-end audits by collecting and validating data, providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
