Summary
Efficiently and effectively supervises and coordinates activities workers engaged in cycle counting, receiving, day-picking, inventory replenishment, inbound physical return, and outbound shipments by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conducts pre-and post-shift inspections of the Distribution Center to ensure cleanliness, equipment and supply readiness for next shift.
Assesses condition of maintenance of Distribution Center, its equipment, and vehicles.
Monitors and manages inbound receiving and put-away activities, cycle count program, day-picking processes, and "top-off replenishment" activities.
Ensures inbound trailers are reconciled daily.
Maintains the "Quality Assurance" area and ensures that problem products are timely and efficiently resolved.
Determines space requirements for all inventory; locates in system; inputs location changes of product.
Ensures efficient use of inventory space and FIFO procedures.
Develops a positive rapport with all departments; efficiently and effectively resolves inventory and billing issues.
Works closely with the PM Distribution Center Supervisor to coordinate resources and correct discrepant items.
Schedules periodic, structured feedback meetings; conducts impromptu meetings to disseminate need-to-know daily information.
Inspects employee timecards weekly for accuracy.
Maintains harmony among workers and is the first person in the chain of command to resolve grievances.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises the all AM Warehouse Workers and Inventory Control Specialists. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Under the direction of the DC Operations Manager, assists in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and Spreadsheet software.
