Job Summary:

Empire is looking someone to step into a leadership role Access Control Division This position requires a construction minded individual who is able to travel to across the country. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, great leadership skills and detail oriented.

Empire installs security gates and fences throughout the United States. We are based out of Waverly, NE.

Empire pays for employee hotels when traveling and also pays $40/day per diem on top of your salary.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a team with a positive attitude
• Coaching and teaching the skills of the trade
• Follow job plans and blueprints
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
• Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition
• Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the fence industry
• General knowledge of different gate systems
• General knowledge of chain link fence and ornamental iron fence
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
• General knowledge on forming, pouring and finishing small concrete footings
• General knowledge on how to stick weld
• General knowledge on low voltage circuits

Hire Bonus:

• Having a Certified Gate Automation Technician card (CGAT) $1,500 bonus after probationary period. 

· Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour with company vehicle after porbationalry period
