JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports the Empire warehouse team with allocation entries of shipping orders into SAP. Maintaining inventory allocation for all divisions and data entry.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
  1. Input all inventory allocations into SAP Shipping system accurately and on time
  1. Manage finished good inventory to insure proper delivery to stores.
  1. Manages reports for the Demand Planning and Warehouse teams
  1. Will be trained to be a backup and cover responsibilities when needed for time off or for vacation
  1. Responsible for keeping plant finished goods inventory updated and resolving and issues in SAP
  1. May assume other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification
  • Must have inventory control experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong warehouse SAP experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Good math skills
  • Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
  • Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
  • Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
ACTIVITIES:
Office, sitting or standing for long hours, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and reaching
HEARING:
Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
REPETITIVE MOTION:
Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers and to stoop and bend
VISUAL ABILITIES:
Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work for long hours in an office.
