Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated EMI Technicians!!!
In this role, you will provide comprehensive asset care services to all equipment within our pilot plants. Your responsibilities will include electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation (EMI) maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation trade services to maintain pilot plant equipment, including handling breakdowns, planned maintenance, and inspection work orders.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive-controlled equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, valves, pneumatic devices, control valves, MCC buckets, motor starters, overloads, and related electrical/control system equipment.
• Read and update electrical/control schematics, process & instrumentation diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams; document work completed in maintenance management software.
• Provide mechanical maintenance and repair services for pumps, drive systems, bucket elevators, augers, and related equipment.
• Identify opportunities for site improvement, address systemic issues, and implement cost-effective solutions to drive completion.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, addressing unsafe or questionable conditions promptly.
• Support the Sustainability Roadmap for the site.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-3 years of industrial electrical/programming experience required, with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix experience being a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform calibrations, installation, and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and arc flash protocols.
• Understanding of the inner workings of pumps, gearboxes, valves, and related components used in liquid processing equipment.
• Familiarity with liquid processing equipment such as homogenizers, UHT, and fillers.
• Strong computer skills, with experience in MS Office and AMM/SAP being advantageous.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.31 - $29.28 per hour
