Workforce Specialist

Starting Salary: $43,000 - $53,000 depending on education and experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines, and within budget parameters.
• Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks, projects, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups of citizens as well as businesses in multiple industry sectors.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as program guidelines, procedure manuals, and government rules related to workforce development contract implementation.

Requirements:

• Some college, plus 1 year of work experience that involved program coordination, job training or workforce development, grant management, project management or related field.
• Experience with data systems, Microsoft Office projects and experience with visual platforms.
• Preferred: Associate degree, plus 3 years of work experience that involved program coordination, job training or workforce development, grant management, project management or related field.
