Our Client in Macedonia is looking for a Floor Inspector to join their team!
We are looking for a candidate with an upbeat, great attitude with lots of motivation! Our perfect candidate is willing to learn and great at problem solving. The Floor Inspector ensures that parts being produced in the manufacturing areas are quality parts as defined in the procedure manual and the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. The Floor Inspector reports to the Quality Supervisors and Manager.
Shift:
All shifts available!
1st Shift: 7:00AM-3:00PM
2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM
3rd Shift: 11:00PM-7:00AM
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 an hour based on interview and experience.
Responsibilities:
Visually inspect last shot cast and last shot trimmed.
Check production parts for good quality.
Document inspection result on log and Quality Instructions.
Use all gauges that are provided.
Report to area supervision any conditions that do not meet customer or company’s quality specifications or standards.
Review rejected production and problem solve what the issue is.
Communicate with operator and/or degator regarding quality concerns.
Record amount of rejected castings and the reason for rejections on the inspection report. Record any pertinent information related to production on the inspection report.
Handle non-conforming material as defined in the procedure manual.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Combination of education, training, and relevant experience in quality.
Have basic math skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Computer skills (Microsoft Office).
