About this Role :

We are looking for a results-oriented individual contributor to help grow our renewals program. We are seeking an Associate Renewals Manager to join our dynamic team. As an individual contributor, you will play a pivotal role in driving our renewals strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue retention with our SMB customers.

What You’ll Do :

  • Renewals Strategy :  Develop and execute comprehensive renewals strategies to achieve revenue retention goals. Analyze customer data, contract terms, and historical trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, account executives, and customer success managers. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and drive renewal decisions.
  • Identifying revenue opportunities within the SMB space to upsell subscription levels and upgrade / cross-sell services
  • Manage customer consumption usage
  • Contract Negotiation : Lead renewal negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Forecasting and Reporting : Provide accurate and timely forecasts of renewal revenue. Monitor renewal pipeline, identify potential obstacles, and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track renewal performance and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously optimize renewals processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability to streamline workflows and drive operational excellence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with sales, customer success, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on renewals goals and priorities. Act as a subject matter expert on renewals-related matters and provide guidance to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Customer Advocacy : Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, representing the voice of the customer in internal discussions and decision-making processes. Champion customer-centric initiatives to drive long-term loyalty and satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring :

  • 2-3 years experience in an account management, sales, or customer success role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal targets in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and contract management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
