employeeownedbrands is Hiring a Production Operator 1st Shift Near Carroll, IA

Job Description:

Our production operations roles could include multiple positions and may provide support to different departments depending on needs of the plant.

Location: Carroll, IA

Shift: 1st Shift. 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required on a regular basis. Overtime is generally 6:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES could include:

  • Variety of Production roles in our plant
  • Reading job orders and blueprints
  • Making setups on assigned machines, according to blueprints
  • Cutting and bending metal to appropriate lengths
  • Stage product for shipment and forklift driving
  • Foaming panels
  • Carpentry and Framing panels
  • Assembly of products
  • Competently running most of the machines in the department
  • Be able to become proficient on machinery
  • ALL other duties as assigned to help out your teammates!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Be able to lift 50-75 lbs on a continual basis
  • Be able to push and pull carts
  • Be able to use repetitive motions
  • Have basic math skills and can use a calculator
  • Be able to reach overhead frequently
  • Be able to stand on concrete for up to 10 hours a day
  • Be able to read a tape measure and other basic measuring tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Willingness to learn
  • Team player
  • Production or manufacturing plant experience helpful!
