EMPLOYERS COUNCIL is Hiring a Survey Specialist Near Denver, CO

Position Purpose

Assists the Compensation and Surveys Manager in the design, deployment, analysis, and publication of geographic and industry compensation, benefits, HR policy, and Custom Opinion Surveys. These surveys are used by Employers Council staff in consulting with members and non-members and by organizations to benchmark their organization's compensation and benefits to market data and to determine customers level of satisfaction with their respective products, services, or other interactions. Supports Employers Council staff and members with interpreting and researching compensation, benefits, and HR policies survey data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the Compensations and Surveys Manager in the design and implementation for membership and client custom surveys
  • Conducts various types of surveys (Compensation, Benefit, HR Metrics, Custom Opinion, and others as requested)
  • Collaborates with members and non-members, and Employers Council staff to modify existing survey instruments and to develop new custom surveys.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates surveys. Include all tasks associated with surveys, such as uploading participants, sending email communications on the survey, exporting data into PDF and/or Excel format.
  • Communicates with members on data validation issues and modifies survey data set as necessary
  • Collaborates with members and clients to develop a questionnaire that will ask customers what they think about the businesses products, services, brand, or other interactions
  • Reviews and analyzes entire survey data set for anomalies before finalizing reports (includes participant demographics and general information data reported such as pay increases)
  • Prepares and runs final survey documents using software such as Payfactors/Payscale, MS Office, and any other current platforms
  • Researches salary, benefit, and economic related information for members from sources such as Economic Research Institute (ERI) and Payfactors/Payscale as requested.
  • Administers Special Studies and Contract Surveys for members and non members.
  • Administers 360/Multi-Rater Survey and Employee Opinion Surveys including creating survey, communication, and final reports.
  • Participates in maintaining ‘How to Manual’ of survey processes.

Education and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty, competently and in a timely manner. The individual must demonstrate initiative and the ability to be a problem solver, in what can be a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree, or two 2 years related experience
  • Analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data
  • Great attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively to present research findings
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and others to complete projects
  • Exceptional customer service skills to provide resources to internal and external customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe
  • Previous experience with CRM systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with Payfactors/Payscale a plus
