Job Description And DutiesTHIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.Are you a highly motivated person that values a positive and empowering work environment? The Employment Program Manager I will be responsible for monitoring, overseeing, planning, influencing a positive working environment, and organizing Wagner-Peyser programs within one unit of the Orange County Cluster team. As a member of the Orange County management team, participates in developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, and standards applicable in the support of the Workforce Innovative Opportunity Act.
Per the Governor's Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available. This position's office follows the recommended safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Center of Disease Control (CDC).
Position exists in Brea and may include a monthly $250 geographic recruitment and retention pay differential.
